Korth ====================================================================== HELEN JOY Funeral services for Mrs. Harry Joy, 67, of Magnet were held Tuesday afternoon at her Methodist Church in Magnet. Mrs. Joy passed away Sunday April 30, at the hospital at Osmond. Mrs. Joy, the former Helen Reynolds was born November 3, 1899 at Onawa, Iowa. In her early years, Helen taught school at the Seventh-Day Adventist School in a basement in Sioux City, Iowa. Later she got a correspondence degree in nursing and also loved to help her husband on the farm. Survivors include her husband Harry V. Joy, a son Dr. Vernon Joy of Malcolm, Illinois, two sisters, Miss Stella Reynolds of Magnet and Mrs. Bernice M. Kertula of Allyn Washington; one brother Harry Reynolds of Pleasant Hope, MO.
