Korth ====================================================================== CASSIE KINKAID Mrs. George Kinkaid, who came to Pierce County as a child of five years and lived in this territory the remainder of her life, died December 22, at her home at the age of 81. She had been in rapidly failing health since last fall and returned to her home from the hospital at Thanksgiving time. Her condition grew steadily worse. Burial was in the family plot in the Magnet Cemetery Mrs. Kinkaid and her late husband celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary in 1953, a month before he died. They had resided continuously in their home in west Randolph for many years after retiring from the farm. Cassie May Forsyth was born January 16, 1873 at Macomb, St. Lawrence County, New York. When she was five years old, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Forsyth pioneered in the territory west of Pierce, where they settled in the Willow Creek vicinity. In 1891, she was married to George Kinkaid. They homesteaded west of Randolph, had lived the remainder of their lives in and around Randolph.
