Korth ====================================================================== FRED LECKLER Fred Leckler, 80, former resident of Magnet passed away Monday October 14, in a hospital at Sterling CO, where he resided. Services were conducted at Sterling, CO and the body was brought to Randolph for burial in the Magnet Cemetery. Fred, a rancher, was born to Christian and Dora Leckler on August 20, 1883 at Kiel, Wisc. He moved to Magnet with his parents in 1893. In July 28, 1906, he was united in marriage to Ethel Baker of Magnet. In 1913, they moved to Sterling where he was engaged in ranching until his death. Survivors include three sons, Avery at home, Verle and Ralph of Sterling; two brothers, Henry of Sterling and John of Boulder, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. Gregory Scherer of Longmont, Colo and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, one son, one daughter and one brother.
