Korth ====================================================================== JAMES F. LONG Funeral services were held Monday at 2 o’clock in the Methodist Church in Magnet for James F. Long, who died March 1st at 4:05 p.m. at the home of his son William F. Long where he had made his home for several years. James Franklin was born December 15, 1880 in Burton, West Virginia and died at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 13 days. He was united in marriage to Dora M. Voigt May 27, 1904. Eleven children were born to this union, Ida McDonough of Omaha, Emma Forrest of Lyons, Edward Brandt of Atkinson, William F. of Magnet, Minnie Cochran of Immokalee, Florida, Ella Hoperich of Tampa, Florida, Georgia Tibbetts of West Palm Beach, Florida, John of Modesto, Calif. Three children preceded him in death. They were Mary Jane, Elizabeth and Josephine Bair. Mrs. Long died in 1949. He also leaves 24 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
