Korth ====================================================================== WILLIAM F. LONG Funeral services for William F. Long, 76, of Magnet were held on Wednesday, March 25 at the Methodist Church in Magnet. Internment was in the Magnet Cemetery. William F. son of James and Dora Voigt Long was born March 9, 1905 at Hardscratch, Iowa. He married Emma Diinger at Yankton, SD in 1924. Mr. Long was in the trucking business at Randolph until 1933 when the couple moved to Magnet and he operated a trucking business and repair shop. They also operated the White Eagle Antique Shop at Magnet until the past few years. Mr. Long passed away on Sunday at Sioux City, Iowa. Survivors include his wife, Emma of Magnet; five daughters, Mrs. Delores Nelson of Randolph, Mrs. Eleanor Peters of Pierce, Mrs. Leonore Peterson of Pierce, Mrs. Lois Mick of Motley, Minn. And Mrs. Phyllis Stoecker of Norfolk; two sons James and William both of Norfolk; 26 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two sister, Ella Hoperich of Tampa, Fla.; and Emma Forrest of Stayton, Ore.; one brother, John of Modesto, California. In addition to his parents, five sisters, a half sister and half brother, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren preceded him in death.
