Korth ====================================================================== EDITH MAINQUIST Edith Helen Mainquist was born January 22, 1898 to Axel and Hulda (Saf) Mainquist of a farm one mile east of Magnet. She only spoke Swedish when she began school so her mother Hulda would read the Omaha Herald to the family to teach them to speak English without an accent. Edith died on June 21, 1915 at the age of 17. She leaves to mourn her loss her loving parents; sister Lillie, Maggie and Dora; brothers William, Raymond, Roy, John and Evert. Internment was made in the Magnet cemetery.
