Korth ====================================================================== RAYMOND MAINQUIST Funeral services for Raymond Axel Mainquist, 69, of Wausa were held Monday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. at the Missions Covenant Church. Burial was made in the Magnet Cemetery. Raymond Mainquist was born February 14, 1900 near Bancroft, Nebraska, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Axel E Mainquist and was baptized in September of 1900. When he was just a young boy the family moved to Magnet where they resided on a farm until 1919 and then moved to Buffalo, Minnesota. Raymond remained in Nebraska living with the Soost family at Magnet. On February 21, 1927 Raymond married Eva Millie Reynolds of Knox County and they ranched in the picturesque area of the Devils Nest for 17 years and then moved to a farm near Wausa in 1944 where he resided until his death. He passed away March 21st at the Lundberg Memorial Hospital at Creighton after a recent illness. Mr. Mainquist is survived by his wife Mille, one son Jack of Wausa; two daughters Ottis (Mrs. Melvin Koehler) of Marion, Ohio and Janice (Mrs. Jack Fuessler), ElCentro, California and four grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters; Maggie (Mrs. Art Willnerd) Oakland; Clara (Mrs. Arnold Nelson) St. Cloud, Minnesota and Mary (Mrs. Irving Olson) Bangkok, Thailand; four brothers, William of Wausa, Roy Allan and Evert all of Buffalo, Minnesota and many other relatives and friends.
