Willis W. McKenzie Dies Wednesday in Omaha; Rites Here

Willis W McKenzie, 78, died early Wednesday morning at the University 
Hospital in Omaha, where he had been since October 16. The body was 
brought to Smith Funeral Home in Hartington. Funeral arrangements have 
not yet been completed. 

Willis, son of I.J. and Rosetta Archer McKenzie, was born March 26, 1874,
at Orilio, Ia. He was married to Lillian Ann Phillips, at Lakeview, Ia., 
in 1901.  They came to this community about 50 years ago and lived on a 
farm until 1940, when they moved to Hartington. Mrs. McKenzie died in May 
1947.

He is survived by one son, Lloyd, who is working in the east. His exact 
location is not known. He has some distant relatives in Iowa.
