Korth ====================================================================== HELEN MITCHELL Services for Helen M. Mitchell, 97, of Norfolk will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Magnet Christian Church. Burial will be in the Magnet Cemetery. Mrs. Mitchell died Monday, January 15, 1996 at Heritage of Bel Air Nursing Home in Norfolk. Helen Manilla, daughter of Frank and Anna Nelson Bloomquist, was born October 8, 1898 at Magnet. She attended elementary grade school. She lived on the farm near Magnet until moving to Omaha in the 1930’s and later to California. On February 1, 1940 she married Bert Mitchell at Wayne. The couple farmed near Belden until retirement in 1973 when they moved in to Randolph. Her husband died December 22, 1980. She resided at Bel Air in Norfolk since 1992. Survivors include one stepdaughter, Mrs. Donna Bring of Cottonwood, Arizona; grandchildren, great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Stohl of Fresno, Calif., and Mrs. Doris Becker of Norfolk, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers and one sister.
