Korth ====================================================================== EDITH A. NELSON The funeral services for the late Mrs. A.C. Nelson was held from the family residence Thursday, forenoon and was one of the largest funeral assemblies ever brought together in this city, which gave evidence of the love and respect by which the deceased was held by her friends and neighbors. Edith Adelle Ludden was born October 3, 1891 near Surprise Nebraska and passed away on August 29, 1921, aged 29 years, 10 months and 26 days. She was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.E. Ludden. In 1905 she moved with her parents to Beatrice, Nebraska where she attended High School graduating with high honors in 1910, after which she was a successful teacher until her marriage to Mr. Arthur Nelson on June 7, 1916. To them were born three children, Lois, Gaylord and an infant son who preceded her to the Better Land by two days. Edith united with the Christian Church at Magnet on Christmas of 1911. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Chapter of Wausa, Nebraska. She was a loving wife, mother and daughter and a helpful neighbor. She had often expressed her happiness in her home life. She was of a happy lovable nature. She leaves to mourn her untimely departure her husband, two children, her parents, two brothers, and three sisters, her husbands parents and sister to whom she was as a second daughter and sister, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
