Korth ====================================================================== HANNAH PAULSEN Mrs. Chris Paulsen of Magnet was laid to rest Wednesday. She was 54 years of age. Her maiden name was Hannah Andersen and she was born in Denmark in 1864, coming to America and settling near Hartington in 1890. The same year she was married to Chris Paulsen and after a few years in the north part of Cedar County they moved to a farm east of Magnet. Here they lived until last spring when they retired from the farm and moved into town. For the past two years, Mrs. Paulsen has been an invalid, yet with Christian fortitude she bore her pain and discomfort with no complaint. She was a loving wife and tender mother, esteemed by neighbors and friends. She leaves her husband and one son Paul. A daughter, Mrs. Pete Petersen, died in January of this year, Deceased was confirmed in the Danish Lutheran Church when a child and held to that faith, but affiliated with the Methodist church in Magnet. The funeral was held at the Magnet Church on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial was made in the Magnet cemetery.
