Perry, aged four years, three months and twenty five days. Little Frances had submitted to an operation for appendicitis and other complications. Although the case appeared almost hopeless, the little fellow rallied bravely from the effects of the operation, and hopes were held out for his recovery. For several days he lingered between life and death, fighting bravely against overwhelming odds. Although the most skillful attention and tender care by doctors and nurses was provided, the slender cord of life finally broke and Frances departed for the home beyond where suffering and sickness are unknown. The little form was tenderly conveyed to the home in Wynot on Thursday. The funeral was held from Sacred Heart Catholic Church Friday afternoon, being attended by a large concourse of relatives and sympathizing friends. The floral offerings were most beautiful and profuse, and the neighbors and friends extended sincere sympathy to the bereaved parents in their sorrow.
