Pinkelman, 48, who died Saturday at Sacred Heart Hospital at yankton after an illness of seven months. Rev. E J Hunkeler officiated at the requiem mass. Pallbearers were Albert Thoene, Tony Noecker, Alfred promes, Ed Pinkelman, Charles Foxhoven and Joe Hesse, Jr. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery under direction of Wintz Mortuary. John Pinkelman was born near Hartington April 12, 1905, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton K Pinkelman. He was a lifelong resident of this vicinity. He farmed most of his life and in 1944 he moved to Wynot where he had since resided. He is survived by two sisters, and two brothers; Mrs. A H Schulte of Tulia, Tex., and Mrs. Floran Backman of Wynot; Hugo Pinkelman of Newcastle and Louis Pinkelman of Hartington.
