Korth ====================================================================== SHIRLEY POPPE Services for Shirley Poppe, 41, Omaha, formerly of Norfolk will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Norfolk. Burial will be in the Magnet Cemetery. Mrs. Poppe died of cancer at a Rochester, Minn. Hospital on Friday. She was born July 11, 1945 at Wausa, the daughter of John and Adele (Loeding) Claussen. She was graduated from Wausa High School in 1963 and attended the University of Nebraska-Omaha where she received a degree in nursing home administration. She lived in Norfolk from 1971 to 1984 and was employed at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Norfolk Regional Center and at Langel Chevrolet. She had been a nursing home administrator at Tekamah and was current administrator at Plattsmouth Manor. Survivors include one daughter, Shelly Jo Poppe, a student at Concordia College at Seward; six brothers, John Claussen, Robert Claussen and Doug Claussen all of Wausa. Melvin Claussen of Shelton, Wash., Martin Claussen and Paul Claussen of Norfolk; four sisters, Mrs. Helmut (Marian) Huttman of Bloomfield, Mrs. Dale (Ruby) Hammer of Creighton, Mrs. James (Velda) Long and Mrs. Eldon (Diane) Flemming of Norfolk. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son and two brothers
