NELSON PRESTON

Nelson Preston was born in Canada on June 22, 1833. In 1853, while living 
in Montello, Wisconsin he married Pheby Ann Vreeland, the daughter of James 
and Jane (Sinclair) Vreeland. Nelson and Pheby lived in Missouri and then 
moved onto Cedar County Nebraska in 1880. Eight children were born to this 
union, 5 sons and three daughters; Edna, William, Adelbert, Elmer, Emma, 
Orum, Oren, Mary and Berton. Nelson passed away on February 5, 1908 with 
burial made in the Magnet Cemetery.
