Korth ====================================================================== GERTRUDE REMMEN Funeral services for Mrs. Radar Remmen, 73, of Plainview were held at the Kunci Funeral Home in Crete on April 1. Graveside services were held at the Magnet Cemetery at Magnet with Pastor Ammerman officiating. Gertrude Darlington Ferguson was born December 22, 1908 at Long Pine to Eilias William and Ada Marian Darlington Ferguson Jr. and passed away March 29, 1982 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Matthies, at Crete where she was staying following a two week hospital stay. She lived most of her life in the Plainview area. She married Radar Remmen on April 29, 1928. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother David. Survivors include her husband, Radar of Plainview, three sons, Arnold of Plainview, Arlo of Omaha and Norman of David City; Three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Carmen) Matthies of Crete, Mrs. Orren (Elaine) Vinger of Wolf Point MT and Mrs. Leon (Thelma) Anderson of Ashland; 23 granchildren; 12 great grandchildren and a sister; Mrs. Arley (Jane) Remmen of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
