Korth ====================================================================== MIRTIE SLAGLE Funeral services were conducted in the Christian Church at Magnet Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Mirties Slagle, 76, who died Monday, in the Osmond Hospital. Mrs. Slagle was a long time resident of Magnet community. For the last three years she had resided in Randolph at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lester Lambing. She entered the hospital last week and her condition became critical several days before her death. Mirtie Ann Hendricks was born in Cass County Nebraska October 14, 1870. On March 20, 1889, she was married to A.B. Slagle at Plattsmouth. In 1906, they came to Pierce County and in 1913 to Cedar County. She was baptized in the Christian faith at the age of 18 and later transferred her membership to Christian Church at Magnet. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Bess Erickson of Madera, Calif., Mrs. Bertha Fauver and Mrs. Grace Fay of Scottsbluff, Mrs. Hazel Lambing of Randolph; two sons Art Slagle of West Point and Silas Slagle of Nampa, Ida.; 18 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; one brother and one sister, both of whom still reside in Cass County. He husband died in 1950 and she was preceded in death by a son, Paul in 1934.
