Korth ====================================================================== IRENE STOBER Funeral services for Mrs. Roy Stober, 74, of Magnet were held Tuesday afternoon, January 14, at the Prescott Funeral Chapel in Bloomfield. Interment was in the Magnet cemetery. Mrs. Stober passed away at her home January 11, after a long illness. Irene, daughter of William and Adella Soost was born June 13, 1889 near Osmond. Later she moved with her family to a farm near Magnet. She was married to Otto Swanson of Hartington in September of 1910. The couple made their home at Magnet. To this union one son was born. Mr. Swanson passed away in 1916. Mrs. Swanson continued to reside at Magnet where she kept house for her brothers, Ed and Harry. She was married to Roy Stober on March 8, 1927 at Wayne and they made their home on a farm near Magnet. One daughter, Helen was born to this union. Survivors include her widower Roy, one daughter, Mrs. Doyle (Helen) Lukens of Crofton; three brothers, Fred of Mitchell, SD.; Ed of Bloomfield and Harry of Washougal, Wash.; one sister, Minnie Beckenhauer of Norfolk and four grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her first husband, her parents and her son Ivan.
