Korth ====================================================================== ROY STOBER Roy Herbert Stober died Saturday, June 29 at the Bloomfield Good Samaritan Home. He was 79 years of age. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 2 at the Scott Funeral Home at Bloomfield. Roy H., son of Martin and Sarah Stober was born July 23, 1888 near Randolph in Wayne County. He attended rural schools, grew to manhood and pursued his lifelong occupation of farming in around the Randolph community. He married Mrs. Irene Swanson on March 8, 1927 at Wayne. They resided on a farm northeast of Magnet their entire life, Mrs. Stober died in January 1964. He continued to live on the farm until October 1965, after this he resided in the Valley View Rest Home at Wausa and later in the Bloomfield Good Samaritan Home. Preceding him in death, in the addition to his wife, were his parents; three brothers, Harold, Cliff and Robert; a stepson Ivan Swanson. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Doyle (Helen) Lukens of Crofton, one sister Mrs. Alex (Ollie) Bayne of Sioux City, Iowa, one brothers Clarence Stober of Moulton, Iowa, three grandchildren.
