Korth ====================================================================== KENNETH TRAUTMAN Kenneth Adolph Trautman, 65, a long time resident of Magnet died Tuesday January 9 at the Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia, MO. Kenneth was born October 3, 1924 at Grafton to Adolph and Ada Trautman, he was one of six children. The family moved to Magnet in 1935 when Kenneth was 10 years old, where they lived for many years. After graduating from the Magnet High School he was rafted and served in the Armed Forces as a Rader Technician from 1944-1946 attaining the rank of staff sergeant. In 1945 Kenneth was married to Bonnie Henrickson. They were blessed with three children. For a time Kenneth and Bonnie ran the café at Magnet. Later he went to work for the Double Circle Cooperatives and continued to work for the Co-Op until retirement in 1982. Kenneth and Bonnie enjoyed 30 years of marriage until her death in November 1975. In October 1976 Kenneth was married to Marian Smith and expanded his family with three stepchildren. They celebrated 13 years of marriage in October 1989. In 1984 Kenneth and Marian moved to Smithton, MO, where they owned and operated the Buckboard Convenience Stores. Kenneth was a proud America and Civic minded. He loved children and working with children. His community service began as a boy when he and George Craig purchased and planted the tree now standing in the Magnet Town Park as a Boy Scout project. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Bonnie and his son Steven in February 1979
