Korth ====================================================================== DAVID WAGNER Services for David J. Wagner, 84 Wausa, will be Monday at 10 a.m. here at the United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Magnet Cemetery with military rites. Mr. Wagner died Thursday January 4, 2007. David J. Wagner, son of Ralph and Winnie (Beck) Wagner, was born April 19, 1922 at Phoenix, Neb. He attended grade school in Iowa. On November 21, 1955, he was married to Dolly Choate at Las Vegas, Nevada. Three children were born to them Robbie, Dennis and Daphne. They lived in Las Vegas until 1959 and moved to Beatrice where David worked for Nebraska Public Power District. They moved to Creighton on 1968 and settled in Wausa in 1986. He was a veteran of World War II and received his training as a lineman in Tokyo after being discharged. He was a member of the VFW in Wausa and a volunteer fireman in Creighton and Magnet. Survivors include his wife Dolly of Wausa; children Robbie Rickard of Wausa, Dennis Wagner of Concord and Daphne and John Wiegert of Wausa; four grandchildren, Burneice and Jeff Hegge of Hartington, Douglas Rickard, Donald and Rose Rickard all of Wausa and Daniel and Tammi Wagner of Milo, MO; 15 great grandchildren, a sister Addie Pritchett of Omaha. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Florence Benash, Thelma Loomis, Hazel Wondercheck, Ailene Pritchett and Lois Wallace and a brother Floyd Wagner.
