Korth ====================================================================== KYLE WHALEY Funeral services for Kyle Whaley, 11, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Whaley of rural Wausa, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Wausa Auditorium. The body will lie in state today (Friday) from 3-9 p.m. Kyle, a sixth grader at the Wausa School, was accidentally shot Wednesday north of Magnet. The boy and older brother and their father were going to round up cattle in a car. When the car hit a bump, a gun, which had been propped up in the vehicle, fell and discharged, striking the boy in the head. He died instantly. He was born March 8, 1961 at Osmond. Survivors, besides his parents, include two sisters Cheryl of Grand Island and Kimberly at home; one brother Kurtis at home and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bartlett of Wausa, Curtis Whaley of Sun City, Calif; and Mrs. Helen Dunn of Pueblo, CO.
