Korth ====================================================================== CLARK WHITE Funeral services for Clark White, 88, of Wausa were held Friday, October 27 at the Magnet Christian Church. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank White, he was born December 29, 1889 at Lewis, Iowa. On September 1, 1909 he married Mattie Smedley at Lewis. Following the couple’s marriage they homesteaded at Hot Springs, SD. After a few years, they came to Nebraska and farmed in the Randolph, McLean and Magnet area. They moved into Magnet in 1969. Mrs. White passed away in October 1970. Mr. White had resided at Valley View Nursing Home at Wausa the past four years. He passed away on Tuesday, October 24 at the Osmond Hospital. Mr. White was a member of the Magnet Christian Church and the Belden IOOF Lodge. Survivors include a son, Alvin of Wausa, two daughters, Hazel White of Wausa and Mrs. Merle (Mary Lou) Oxley of San Marcos, Texas and eight grandchildren.
