Korth ====================================================================== MATTIE WHITE Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, October 14, for Mrs. Clark White of Magnet. Interment was at the Magnet Cemetery under the direction of the Johnson Funeral Home. Mrs. White passed away on Sunday October 11, at the Osmond General Hospital. She had been an invalid and in failing health since suffering a stroke 16 years ago. Mattie, daughter of Ed and Mary Bagley Smedley was born December 6, 1888 at Lewis, Iowa. On September 1, 1909 she married Clark White at Lewis, Iowa. Except for a few years spent at Hot Springs, SD, they have lived all their married life at Randolph and the surrounding vicinity where they were engaged in farming. Survivors in addition to her husband, Clark, are two sons, Frank of Randolph and Alvin of Wausa; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lou Oxley of Oxnard, Calif., and Hazel at home, one sister, eight grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
