Korth ====================================================================== GEORGE WILLIAMSON George Albert Williamson, son of George and Elmira Williamson, was born August 21, 1878 near Clarksdale, MO, in DeKalb County. He departed this life January 22, 1956 at the age of 77 years, five months and one day. He was the youngest of eleven children, four brothers and five sisters having preceded him in death. As a child he moved with his parents from Missouri to Hebron, NE, where he lived until a young man. As a young man he worked on farms around Magnet, Nebr. He also lived on a homestead in South Dakota for some time. On February 28, 1912, he was united in marriage to Miss Bessie May Coop at Wayne, NE. They lived for a few months on the homestead in South Dakota and then returned to Nebraska to live in Cedar County west of Hartington in the Pleasant Valley community. To this union four children were born; Glen of Indianola, NE, Alta Williamson of Scottsbluff, NE; Dale of Lexington, NE, and Leo of San Francisco, Calif. Mrs. Williamson passed away June 10, 1931 when the youngest child was six years old. In 1947 he left the farm and moved with his son Glen to Norfolk, NE. Since leaving the farm he has lived with his sons. At the time of his passing he was with Dale at Lexington, NE. He was baptized into Christ, in the summer of 1941 at Norfolk, NE. He is survived by his four children; one brother Lawrence of Blackwell, Oklahoma, seven granddaughters, one grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
