Korth ====================================================================== MARY YOUNG Services for Mrs. Mary Young, 65, of Norfolk, formerly of Randolph were held Saturday, November 25 at the Westridge United Methodist Church in Norfolk. Interment was at the Magnet Cemetery. The daughter of James and Rosa Macklin, Mary was born May 1, 1913 at Gordon. She lived near Randolph prior to her marriage to Christopher Young on November 14, 1941 at Pierce. They then lived in Magnet. Her husband died in February 1954. Mrs. Young had resided in Norfolk since 1965. She passed away on Wednesday, November 22 in a Norfolk nursing home. Mrs. Young was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and Westridge Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons Gary of Magnet and Larry of Iowa City, IA; a daughter Mrs. Vi Leapley of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Leo (Ella) Bathke of Norfolk and a twin sister, Mrs. May Bethune of Randolph and a brother, Bill Macklin of Carroll. In addition to her parents and her husband, one son, one grandson and one brother preceded her in death.
