The Jensen boy was employed helping Campbell cut wood with a buzz saw, the work being done near the W.H. Culver home in the east part of town. The boys coat was open as he passed the gasoline engine in became entangled in the shafting key on the governors and started to twist, drawing him into the machine. He cried out and Campbell, seeing his predicament grabbed a heavy log and threw it with such force against the revolving saw that it could not cut thru but caused the engine to stop. The boy was cut away from the engine and carried into the W.H. Culver home where it was found that the flesh had been torn from his right leg by the wheel. He was taken to St. Johns hospital and given surgical aid. On Tuesday evening he was removed to the home of his parents. Mr. Campbell has been highly complimented for his thotfulness in acting so quickly.
