This file was contributed for use in the NEGenWeb Archives by Carol Tramp Permission granted by: Rob Dump, Editor, Cedar County News ====================================================================== CEDAR COUNTY NEWS NOVEMBER 24, 1927 CROFTON COUPLE MARRIED TUESDAY MISS ALMA BARTZ BECAME THE BRIDE OF HERMAN TRAMP AT HIGH NUPTIAL MASS Miss Alma Bartz, daughter of Charles Bartz of Crofton, and Herman Tramp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tramp of near Crofton were married Tuesday morning at nine o'clock at the Immaculate Conception Church at Beaver Creek. Rev. Father William Klein officiating. The Nuptial high mass ceremony was used and over 75 guests attended. Miss Rose Tramp was bridesmaid and Bernard Tramp attended the groom. Miss Marcella Tramp was a flower girl. The bride's gown was white crepe satin and shadow lace and she wore a bridal veil and wreathe. The bridesmaid was dressed in old rose crepe trimmed with rhinestone and she wore a rose colored hat. Miss Bartz carried a streamer bouquet of sweet peas and carnations. Following the wedding, a three course dinner was served at the home of the bride. Decorations at the home were in old rose and white. A reception was held in the afternoon and in the evening a wedding dance was given at the opera house in Crofton. The young couple will make their home with the bride's father this winter and next summer they will farm near Crofton. Both have a host of friends who wish them happiness. Sunday evening over 80 friends gave the bride a prenuptial shower at the Tramp home.
