The new firm is composed of Harry Drier and Miss Florence Peters, both of whom have long been associated with the older institution there, Mr. Drier as superintendent there. Mr. Drier as superintendent of the manufacturing department and Miss Peters as office manager. They have now united in the oraganization of the new company which has purchased a building on Broadway which has been throughly remodeled to suit needs of the new institution and has been equiped with new and modern machinery for the manufacture of butter and other dairy products according to the very latest processes. Mr. Drier will devote all of his energies to the manufacturing end of the business while Miss Peters will be business and office manager. Both are widely known among the producers of northern Cedar county among whom they have host of friends who are encouraging this new venture. Another important change in the Yankton buisness district occurred this week when a New York chain store organization purchased the Dowling deparment store building which will be wrecked and a new modern business block erected on the site. The Dowling store is one of the oldest in the city. They are announcing a closing out sale.
