The culprits are presumably small boys of the neighborhood. Authorities say they are certain they know who the boys are. a window which had been nailed down was forced open to gain entrance. Window shades were torn, the water was turned on and left to run, floors were damaged and much other damage was done. SCHULTE FAMILY HOLD REUNION SUNDAY Five brothers and Sister meet together after 16 years. Wynot - For the first time in 16 years five brothers and their sister met in a happy reunion at a family gathering held at the Alex Schulte home Sunday, October 16. The Sister and brothers came from four states and are Sister Carola of Louisville, KY., Herman Schulte of Planington, SD, John Schulte of Hartington, Dr. J.E. Schulte of Alton, Ill., Alex Schulte and Frank Schulte of Wynot. They are the sons and daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alex Schulte, Sr., pioneer settlers of this section of Cedar county. A large crowd of relatives enjoyed the hours spent in visiting after which a six o'clock dinner was served. Those present were Sister Carola, Herman Schulte and daugther Teresa, John Schulte and family, Frank Schulte and family, Dr. and Mrs. J.E. Schulte, Louie Schulte and family of Menno, SD., Mrs. Eugene Wuebben and family, Wm. and Ed Wuebben, Barney Wuebben and family and Alex Schulte and family. The reunion was planned during a two week visit here of Sister Carola and Dr. and Mrs. J.E. Schulte. WYNOT NEWS Several in this vacinity felt the slight earthquake which occured here about 3:30 Tuesday morning of last week. Several report feeling the earth's tremors also hearing articles of their homes rattle. NOTE: THE WYNOT TRIBUNE CEASED OPERATIONS IN THE LATE 1930s.
