Autumn Wedding For Noecker- Promes Oct. 9
                Wynot Neb – A pretty fall wedding was performed at St. 
Phillip and James Church Wednesday morning, October 9, at 8:30 when 
Miss Erma Noecker of Wynot, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Noecker the 
new king and queen of the Schuetzenfest, became the bride of Frank Promes 
son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Promes of Wynot. The double ring ceremony was 
performed by Rev. Charles Knieppen. The two attendants of the brider were 
Miss Laura Promes and Miss Phyllis Noecker. Groomsmen were Vernon Fischer 
and Alfred Promes.
                Mr. and Mrs. Promes will start housekeeping on a farm 
three and one-half miles south east of Wynot.
