IDA GOWERY Wynot - A group of friends and neighbors gathered at the home of Mrs. Ida Gowery, 79 year old Wynot resident, in a surprise visit Monday afternoon. The hours were spent in visiting and a handkerchief shower was given to Mrs. Gowery who expects to go to Iowa soon to spend some time at the home of a relative. Lunch brought by the guests was served at the close of a pleasant afternoon. Among those present besides the guest of honor were Mrs. G.A. Snowe, Mrs. Joe Mathers, Mrs. Otto Bottolfson, Mrs. Guy Orr, Mrs. Rudy Schroeder, and daughter Benita, Mrs. Frank Konegni, Mrs. Lewis Chamberlain and Mrs. Derby.
