They had quite an experience when they were about 10 miles from Reno, Nevada, when they were stalled in the heavy snow. Snow was 17 feet deep in places. They with other motorists in the cars and buses were stalled for 27 hours. This was about 120 miles from the City of San Francisco train was stalled. Arriving at Randolph Mr. Dowling learned of the death of his grandmother Mrs. Della Collier, and they remained for the funeral which was held Wednesday.
