TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE -  Mr. and Mrs. William Hirschman of Colerdige will 
be honored for their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, January 24, when 
their children will be hosts at open house from 2 to 5 p.,m., at St. 
Michael's Catholic Church in Coleridge.  William Hirschman of 
Coleridge and Margaret Dresden of Hartington were married January 27, 
1915 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hartington.  They have lived 
all their married lives in the Coleridge community.  They are the 
parents of twin sons, Howard and Homer of Coleridge, seven grand-
children and three great-grandchildren.

William Hirschmans observed golden wedding anniversary

COLERIDGE - Mr. and Mrs. William Hirschman of Coleridge observed their
50th wedding anniversary January 24, with a dinner for the immediate 
family, Father Flynn of Colerdige and Father George Saxon of Wynot, at 
Bobbie's cafe in Belden.

A reception from 2 to 5 o'clock p.m., was held at St. Michael's church 
parlors at Colerdige.  Their sons, HOward and HOmer were hosts at the 
reception.  The anniversary cake, baked and decorated with golden bells 
and topped with a gold 50 by Mrs. W.H. Albers of Hartington, centered 
the serving table.  Mrs. Gene Baier of Fremont registerd the guests.  
Kaye Hirschman, Ruth Hirschman and Mrs. Ed Becker were in charge of the 
gift table.

Mrs. Howard Hirschman and Mrs. Homer Hirschman poured, Mrs. Roger Frye, 
of Fremont, presided at the punch bowl.  Mrs. William Dresden and Mrs. 
Francis Dreesen cut and served the cake.  Assisting in the kitchen were 
Mrs. Mike Mannion, Mrs. Ray McCoy, Miss Jackie McCoy, Sally Dresden, Mrs. 
Harold Hansen, Mrs. Charles Hansen, Mrs. Joe Kalin, and Mrs. STeve Kalin.

A special mass was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic 
church.  Father Flynn officaited.  Mass servers were Timothy Dresden and 
Danny Lammers of Hartington.

A cafeteria supper was prepared by Mrs. Bob Peck, served in the Homer 
Hirschman home.  The evening hours were spent playing 10-point pitch at 
eight tables.  Mrs. Charles Hansen and Francis Dreesen won top honors, 
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kalin received low, and Mrs. Alfred Hansen, traveler's.

Margaret Dresden and William Hirschman were married Janaury 27, 1915, at 
Holy Trinity Catholic church in Hartington.  They have resided all their 
married life in the Coleridge community.  They are the parents of twin 
sons, Homer and Howard.  They also have 7 grandchildren and 3 great-
grandchildren.
