With military honors befitting the burial of Hartington’s last civil war soldier, funeral services for Robert Sterling St. Who ran away from home at 16 to join the Northern Army, faked his name and age to enlist and then “deserted” one company to get into the fighting, were held Sunday afternoon at the city auditorium
