MACHACEK, ALDEN [September 23, 1910 - October 27, 1972]
ALDEN MACHACEK BURIED MONDAY
    Funeral service was conducted Monday for Alden Machacek, 62, who died unexpectedly Oct. 27 at his home.
    Rev. Richard Hovis officiated at the 2 p.m. service at Svoboda Funeral Home. George C. and Bozena Novotny were in charge of music.
    Pallbearers were Joe Valish, Stanley Lapacek, Elmer Herde, Ernie Hron, Frank and Otto Krivohlavek, Jr.
    The son of John and Antonia Ondracek Machacek, he was born Sept. 23, 1910 in Colfax County. His education was received in Colfax County Rural Dist. 64. A farmer, he had never married.
    Survivors include one brother, John J., Ashland; four sisters, (Antonette) Mrs. William Urban, Linwood; (Wilma) Mrs. Clair Lanning; (Olga) Mrs. Don Gilbert, Ashland: and (Sylvia) Mrs. Robert Houdek, Schuyler; eight nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew.
