Burial Valley View Memorial Park. My thoughts of dad: Served in WWII, fought on the Island of Okinawa. Was a Truck driver for Dealers Transport and then Jack Cooper Transport until his death. Hauled new cars to Dealers around the Central and Western states. He drove out of Kansas City, Missouri, Denver Colorado and Salt Lake City, Utah, in that order. He loved to hunt and fish. Bowling was also one of his pastimes. He was married four times , twice to my mother. He died calling her name. Some mistakes can't be rectified. He was always on the road so time spent together was precious. In 1998 my husband and I made the trip back to Salt Lake City to gather information and to say good-bye one last time. I realized he wasn't there, that he is up there in Heaven waiting until our time here is finished also. It finally gave me the peace I was seeking about him and now all the memories of him are happy ones, He is buried Valley View Memorial Park, Granger, Utah, Plot D-50-10.
