Ringgold was a small farming community seven miles south of Cozad. It had a post office and a school house. It was in this school house in 1912 a Sunday School was organized by Rev. Anton . The congregation was made up of people of all denominations. The first Chruch building was erected on land donated by Lee Zook and was built on the corner northeast of the present Fairview Cemetery.This Church served the commuinity from 1902-1920's.
