This census contains the names and or widows of the soldiers
who served in the Civil War 1861 - 1865., and were living during
the time of the census. The original census was burned and this
is a reconstruction of the Veteran records. It can be helpful in
knowledge they received pensions and sometimes the state from
which they served.
