This two series are bound in one volume, three affidavits per page. Some of the surnames were not listed in the first index. This is what the affidavit looks like from the book: AFFIDAVIT OF APPLICANT FOR NATURALIZATION - minor THE STATE OF NEBRASKA, ) ) SS DODGE COUNTY, ) (Applicant's name) being first duly sworn, on oath says that he is upwards of twenty-one years of age, to wit: (i.e. 22) years; that he has resided continuously in the United States for three years and upwards next preceding his arrival at the age of twenty-one years, and has resided within the preceding this application, without being at any time during the said five years out of the territory of the United States, and has resided within the State of Nebraska for one year; that during the time aforesaid he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same, that he does not disbelieve in and is not opposed to all organized government, and does not advocate or teach the duty, necessity, or propriety of the unlawful assaulting or killing of any officer or officers, either of specific individuals or of officers generally, of the government of the United States or of any other organized government because of his or their official character, and has not violated any of the provisions of the act of Congress approved March 3, 1903, entitled "An act to regulate the immigration of aliens into the United States." Affiant further says that he will support the Constitution of the United States, and that he does absolutely and emtirely renounce and abjur all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty whatsoever, and particularly to (country of origin-i.e. King of Denmark.)
