HULBERT, BLAIR
Looking for information about George W. HULBERT who came to Nebraska from
New York in 1859. He married Elizabeth BLAIR in 1862. I am interested in knowing if there
were related HULBERT's in Nebraska in that time period.
The information I have shows George was born NY in 1837. His father was William HULBERT. His mother was Samantha (SANDERS) HULBERT. George and Elizabeth lived in Kearney (Buffalo Co.) NE and in Beatrice. George rode Pony Express when he first came to Nebraska. He later started a stage line. In 1900 he moved to Oregon.

HERSHEY, BRIDGEMAN, LASHER
I am looking for information concerning my great grandfather Solomon M.
HERSHEY and his wife, Susanna B. (BRIDGEMAN) HERSHEY, who came to
Beatrice around 1885 from Lancaster County, PA. They operated the
Hershey meat market and grocery store in Beatrice for many years. Also
looking for information about grandfather Ivan LASHER and grandmother
Clella (LIZER) LASHER who lived in Wymore. He owned and operated a
hardware store in the 1920's or 1930's. She was a piano teacher, played
the organ in the Methodist Church and was grand organist for the

ARMSTRONG, BYOUS
George Lincoln Armstrong - born in 1863 in Paw Paw, IL, married
to Mima Byous - born in 1870 in IL. They moved to Beatrice, NE
and had 5 children: Lyle, Lena, Ben (born 1900), Bertha (born
1902), and Edith (born 1905). Mima Armstrong died about 1908 and
is buried in Beatrice. Little else is known about their ancestors
except that George's father Thomas Armstrong is buried next to Mima,
and that he was a Civil War Veteran (GAR) and lived in a Veterans
Home near Beatrice before he died in 1923. (Did such a place really
exist?) Any info is appreciated.

BASOR, WARNER
I am looking for information on Cyrus BASOR (BEASOR, BASORE)born
Sept. 1863 in PA. He married Ella Jane WARNER born in Ohio in March
1863 in 1886. He appears in the Omaha City Directorys of 1889 and
1890 as a Carpenter living on South 29th Street. He is
listed in the 1900 census. I have found a William BASORE in
Blue Springs, Gage County in the 1880 census with a son named
William who would be the same age as Cyrus. Cyrus had three children
all born in Omaha including my Grandfather Harry Eugene BEASOR
who fathered four chlidren all born in Omaha as well. Any information
on Cyrus, exact date of marriage, did he change his name, etc.

I am looking for any information on Grabouski, who settled in Beatrice, Gage
Co, NE. I have a Marriage certificate for a Herman John Grabouski b.
1/17/1894 d. 9/1966 and Cora May Rewleyb. 9/23/1896 d. 2/1974.Herman & Cora
got married on 12/24/1917 in Beatrice NE. Herman's parents were Frank &
Justine Reddick Grabouski. Frank & Justine had 4 children- Frank, Martin,
Herman, & Florence.Cora's parents were Jacob & Honor Gauible Rewley. I think
Frank Grabouski is my ggrandmother's brother.
Herman & Cora had 6 children- Phillip married Eleanor Pieper (8 children),
Paul married Gwen McCoy (3children), Harold married Dolores Hubka b.
4/25/1931 d. 11/1974, Howard married Georgia Hale (3 children), Lloyd married
June Bennet (4 children), Ruth married ? Jones (4 children).
I have a 1920 census for Beatrice which lists a Martin J. & Christiane
Grabouski with 3 children, Kathryn, Donald, & Anita. It also lists an
Elizabeth Grabouski who lived with her 2 sons, John, who was 36, & Albert,
who was 27. Elizabeth was listed as a widower & 74 yrs old.
I have a Robert Grabouski, who live in Lincoln, NE, who supposably is a
cousin, no connection made yet. My ggrandmother was Florence Grabouski, her
parents were George & Elizabeth Schell Grabouski.
Any help would be appreciated, & I will share any information that I have.

BENJAMIN, COOK, DOLEN
I am seeking information on my great grandfather James Consider
BENJAMIN. He was born in NY and moved with his family (Ambrose
and Harriet (COOK) to Wisc. The 1850 census lists the family in
Racine Wisc and lists James C as three years old. His parents
were both deceased when James was still a teenager and he worked
on farms until he moved on to a homestead in Gage Co. NE...a day
book notation states December 2nd 1867 moved onto homestead. He
married Emily DOLEN about 1869 and I believe he was still in
the Gage county area. James was receiving mail in Beatrice NE
in 1893.

KENYON, FULLER, NUTTING
My mom was born in Custer Co., NE but I have traced her maternal
grandparents to Gage Co. Their surnames are KENYON and FULLER. The
Kenyons came to Hooker twp sometime just before 1870. Ralph A and
Emerette (Nutting) Kenyon were the parents of Willard, George, John
Albert(my g-grandfather), Wallace B., Helen, and Rest.
The Fullers came to Hooker twp sometime between 1860 and 1870. John and Nancy were parents of George W. (my g-g-grandfather), Susana, Margaret, Elita, Uriah, Mary, Jonathan, Nancy, Polly, and Orrin. George W. Fuller had married Lydia ROY in Indiana and their eldest daughter, Sarah Isabel, married John Albert KENYON, in 1875, in Gage co. Their first 3 children, Maude, Oscar, and Edith were born in Hooker twp area. My grandmother Lula Mae, and 3 others were born in Sargent, Custer co. after the family moved there.
Iwould love to find any additional information you might have on my family in your area. One of the things that I was hoping to find out was whether obits from the 1905 era are available. That is the year that Ralp A. Kenyon is said to have passed away and was hoping to find an obit on him to get a clue about his parents. Also on Emerette, however, I'm not sure when she passed away.
