Inside the Museum
North Room, second floor: is the restored Law Office of Moses P. Kinkaid.
Middle Room, second floor: Tells the story of
Congressman M. P. Kinkaid,
the Kinkaid Land Act and the Kinkaiders.
South Room, second floor: Depicts the settlement of Holt County in a series of beautifully designed panels.
The Community Room, first floor: The Holt County Historical Society meets here the 2nd Tuesday of each month. The fire
proof vault contains over 1000 family histories, school histories, pictures and valuable records. An audio
visual presentation, "A Land of Great Promise" by Dr. Bob Manley, introduces visitors to the exhibit.
