Looking west on main street at Chamers, Nebraska in 1910. the painting was made from actual photographs. Chambers is located in south Holt County called "Prairieland" in the 1880's. The postoffice was established in 1884. Chambers, a Bicentennial Community, is the home of the Holt County Fair.
