I am searching for information on the Lewis Fenner Brown (b. 1842 in Ohio) family who was in the Stuart, Holt Co., NE area ca 1889 when son Leo was born. Any information would be welcome, but I am particularly interested in Lewis' daug. Edna (no b. date) who may have married a Kreader. The family probably lived in Dodge Co., NE previously.

Schollmeyer, Joseph - brother of my great grandfather. Joseph came to Holt County, O'Neill, Scott Township in about 1878. Would like to know if there are any descendants of Joseph still in the area so we can do some further work on the Schollmeyer genealogy. Will share what we know of Charles Schollmeyer (Joseph's brother).

I have recently received info that my great grandfather, JOHN SHORT, received a 1600 acre ranch in Holt and Rock Counties in Nebraska. This was back in 1894. Does anyone know how I could get more info about this?
I understand John Short got the ranch from Milton Doolittle (who lived in Atkinson?)

I'm looking for information on Norman McNamee who was a teacher in Dorsey. He also taught at the West Highland School in 1981. Married Pearl Billick in O'Neill in 1888. Pearl also taught school. Her father David C. Billick was a well digger and married to Eva Stines. Norman and Pearl had 3 children:
Harry born 1889, Ethel 1891 and Arthur born 1893.
Norman disappeared 1892. He left a note with Jack Burt and supposedly left the country. Would like any information on the Billick or McNamee history. Thank you.
