Can anyone tell which Antelope County Township is (was) due east of Holt County's Ewing Township in 1900? I've looked everywhere for a township map of Antelope and can't find one. The reason I ask is that there seems to have been some "jumping" of the township (And county) lines at the turn of the century and so the census record I'm looking for may have been in one or the other county.
My grandfather, Floyd L. Thomas, lists his birthplace as "Ord, Holt, NE", but there's no Ord IN Holt at this time. What about 1900?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My gr-grandfather (Dwight Pond) and his family moved to the Inman area in the last half of the 1800's and lived there until around 1910. He was publisher of the Inman News. I have gathered some information about him from the book of Holt County by Nellie Snyder Yost. His farm of 240 acres was in Sect. 23 and 24 of Twp. 28. I would like to locate that exact area near Inman.

KEITH/CHILDS: Researching information about William Keith (b. Oct 1849) and Orlettie (Lettie) Childs (b. 15 Apr 1860). Found reference in Andreas' History of the State of Nebraska that they were the first people married in Menlo, Holt Co. on 15 Oct 1879. Any information about them would be greatly appreciated! Have info to share.

Searching for any information on Abbott family in Holt Co.NE. James Thomas Abbott m. Mary Opal Yenglin 1935 in Butte NE but each lived in Oniell at the time. James had relatives in Butte.
