SORENSEN, Rasmus Soren immigrated from Denmark in 1885; lived in Clarkson until about 1888 or 1890 and moved to O'neill and farmed until about 1920. Wife was Karen Hansen who immigrated from Denmark in 1884; father's name Martin/Morten Hansen; mother's name Christine. Rasmus and Karen had four children: Chris, Agnes, Arthur, Elna. WALKER. Looking for relatives of Edwin Asbury Walker. Born 1882 Iowa. Married Elsie Belle Grimm 16 Jan 1903, on dau Marvelle Catherine b. 6/8/1903.
Edwin died May 1951, records show he was buried in Page Cemetery Ne. His parents John Walker d. 9 Dec. 1899 wife Lovina Williamson Walker b. 9 March 1839 d. 17 April 1894.
Edwin Had one sister Hattie b. 1 July 1885 d. 23 Aug. 1885 buried with parents Grimpton Cemetery.
Edwin has relatives in Chadron, NE, CO, Ohio, Wy that would like to contact any relatives still living.

My grandfather's brother, John Horton, was born in Springfield, Illinois in 1866. I've asked for a researcher's help to find his death record in Illinois, but there is none. I have found a man on the 1880 census as a boarder in the home of W. Rielly in Ewing Holt Nebraska. This John Horton was born at the right time in Illinois and I believe he may be the missing John Horton - either ran away from home or was shipped out to work for a living at the age of 14. He also shows up on the 1900 census, this time supposedly a boarder with a James Horton, but the writing is very messy and I question the existence of James Horton. Anyway, I would appreciate any insight into the tracking down of this John Horton residing in Ewing Holt Nebraska until at least 1900; death record, marriage record, etc. Thank you in advance.
