Looking for any information on the John & Francis Ziska family that settled in the Green Valley before 1900. It is believed the children were John, Francis, Frank, Joseph, Ann, Fred, Matilda m. John Olson, & Edward. John & Francis are found in the 1900 Green Valley census but not before. John & Francis as well as their 1st 4 children emigrated from Bohemia in 1866.

looking for a living relative of joseph and elizabeth Bruder to help with family history. i am son of Henry Bruder. i need a copy of obituary of joseph and william bruder. these are uncles and i need the married names of nieces. joseph died about 1954 and william died about 1966. both are buried in Atkinson cemetery.

hi, looking for some help from living relatives.
my grand parents Joseph and Elizabeth Bruder were early Holt County settlers. They are buried in Atkinson, Neb. They had 8 children William,Joseph,Lawrence, Henry, Anna Dickover,Emma Grace, Minnie Scripture, and Miss Josephine.
I am a son of Henry and due to the many years gone by have little hopes of any first cousins still living, but there should still be 2nd cousins out there who can help.
dad was the youngest child of joseph and elizabeth, i am 5th of 8 with 6 still living.
William and Joseph are buried at Atkinson does anyone have an obituiary they could share? They had no sons to carry on the Bruder name and i really need married names of my cousins to continue this family history. thanks in advance for your help. james Bruder

I am interested in any information about John & Frances Brau and their children. They homesteaded around Stuart, NE beginning abt 1887. They attended St. Boniface Church in Stuart thru at least 1920. I am especially interested in their son, my grandfather, Ludwig Felix Brau. aka Louis Brau.

Looking for obituary or other information on my great great grandmother, Laura P. Mathena Dowd.
She was born in Ohio in 1833 and married Nathan Dowd in Wapello county, Iowa abt 1855. The children I know they had were James E, Ephriam Spencer, Alvin Clayton, Grant, Laura Augusta, Daniel Thornton, Benjamin Franklin, and Jesse Vivian. The family moved to Holt County about 1884 or thereabouts. I believe that Laura (Nathan's wife) died in Holt County between 1901 and 1904. She predeceased him and he moved to Florida.

GOFF/MURPHY, Edgar Scot Goff married Lenora Murphy, Jan 28, 1913 at St. Patricks Catholic Church, O'Neil Nebraska. Edgar was born and died at Pierre, NE and was son of John (Johnathan) L. (Leach) Goff. John L. is my great-grandfather. Am looking for descendants of Edgar and Leonora.
