Am seeking information on Hamilton's who lived in the Middle Branch area during the late 1800's or very early 1900's. First names of Eric, George and Robert are of this family. George married Fredia Berhen(d), so the Berhen(d) family would also be of interest; they 'dated' while the families lived there.

Claude Vinton WICKS (1878-1949) m. Altheria Louise FRINK (1880-1966). Claude is buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Atkinson, Holt Co, NE. Does anyone know where I can find info on that cemetery? Would like to know if Altheria is buried there. Are there other cemeteries in Atkinson where she might have been burried in 1966?
Thanks for any help, Janis

I am looking for Holt County resident Warren Badge Willson who married Lucretia Ford at Fort Randall, South Dakota. Family lore indicates they were married while Chief Sitting Bull was imprisoned at the Fort in 1882-1883. Warren may have been employed by the Indian Agency or Military at Fort Randall. They returned to Holt County in Feb 1884 when their first child was born. Lucretia's family returned to Iowa by 1885. Warren's family continued to live in the Turtle Creek area of Holt County. Any clues regarding this family would be much appreciated.

Would like information on the Powell family. Bertram L. Powell was in Holt Co. in 1920. His father was Benjamin A. Powell whose father was David C. Powell. David lived in Madison Co. Iowa coming from Indiana. David C's sister, Sarah Jane married an Abrams which is our ancestor. Eliza Bard is also related. I think the Berntson girls of 1920 would be related. Thank you.

Trying to determine the father of Helen Irene Pierce, b. Febr. 15, 1909 in Amelia, Ne. Her mother was Lillian Pierce. The bureau of Vital Statistics in Lincoln was unable to locate a birth certificate. This was an illegitimate birth, so not certain the father's name would be on the birth certificate. Helen's mother, Lillian Pierce, born in 1890 in Iowa, married William Weller in 1914. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
