CHAPIN posted by Jana Chapin Dierker on Friday, June 14, 2002

I am looking for information on my grandfather, Joseph Beecher Chapin. He was born 12-4-1913 in Springview to Levi and Bess (Koftan) Chapin. According to his mother's sister, Margaret Koftan Langhammer, he mas married before coming to Missouri in 1933 and marrying my grandmother. I would like to know his first wife's name, the dates of the marriage and annulment, and any other information I can find about him.

STONE, Bauld - I'm searching for any information on M. Bert Stone who was residing in Keya Paha County sometime between 1910-1930. He was the deputy sheriff of possibly Springview. He later married Edna Bauld of Springview. Thank you.

NELSON, THORIN posted by Rodney Thorin on Tuesday, December 3, 2002

I am looking for infromation on my great-grandparents, Charles L and Clara Augusta NELSON THORIN. They lived in Norden and had 8 sons, two of which were born in the Norden area - Alfred Leonard in 1908 and Melvin Sanford in 1911. They then moved to the Chambers area.
According Charles' obituary, he was born in Sweden and I think Clara was also. I'd like information about their time in Keya Paha County if available.

DIMMICK, GROVER, LAUGHLIN, STURM posted by John Martin on Thursday, March 20, 2003

I am looking for information on the death date and place of my great great grandmother, Nancy Grover.
The best information I have is that she died about June of 1889, probably in Keya Paha county. At that time, she was the wife of Edward L. Grover. There is an Ed Grover listed in the 1890-1 farmers directory of Keya Paha County. Her maiden name was Sturm. She had previously been widowed from marriages to Isaac Dimmick and to D.K. Laughlin.
I sincerely appreciate any information you may find. Thank You, John Martin
