REYNOLDS, RUGER posted by Linda Urban Ruger on Thursday, June 12, 2003: While searching the State Census from 1885 we found my husband's Grandfather, Jacob Ruger and his wife, Minnie living in Pine Precinct, Keya Paha, NE. Where would I find this area on the map? Also how would or where would I go to do research? I understand she died either in childbirth with their daughter, Cora Mabel or not long afterwards. Their daughter was later to wed a Bert Rubin Reynolds who remains a mystery to us. Jacob Ruger moved to the Hartington/Coleridge area, when we do not know. At some time he remarried to a Laura M. and had 4-5 more children. If anyone could please help me with this I'd appreciate it. We live in Alabama and its quite a distance for us to visit at this time.
